My name is Keri Tarro, I hope you enjoy using our facility and choose to become part of the Fieldhouse Family.  I have been wrapped up in the love of the game since the age of 8. Once I picked up a softball, I never put it down! I am a former educator, leaving the classroom to take care of my family. I have a background in teaching youth of all grade levels and abilities. My passion for teaching the sport began in high school, when I started coaching pitching to my father’s rec teams and became a camp counselor at the Lady Lions softball camp.

   I have been an active board member for the Coventry Girls Softball League since 2019. I played fastpitch for various leagues since the age of 8, including my competitive travel team (one of the first girls’ fastpitch travel teams in RI!), my high school varsity team, Pawtucket’s RBI League, Rhode Island College softball, and Apponaug’s Women’s League. I was an assistant coach at Wheeler High School and an assistant coach at East Greenwich High School for nine years. As an assistant coach at East Greenwich, we won two state titles and had multiple battles in playoff games. As the JV Head Coach, we won three consecutive state tournaments. I have actively been a self-employed pitching coach since 2009; working out of private facilities around the state of RI. I have coached many local RI and MA pitchers who went on to pitch at all different collegiate levels.

   I have been coaching softball at all levels for over 20 years. I am currently the Manager of RI Crush 12U Tarro team. Our 2023 season was a major success, winning multiple local tournaments, including the RI USA 10U state championship, and placing in out of state tournaments.
